Are you an AWS DevOps Engineer who is keen to lead and define the DevOps practices of an organization going through a major transformation? Reporting to the CTO you will have the opportunity to work closely with the architects and delivery team and define how operations work. You will be responsible for delivery DevOps best practice and will help define how the operations will work.

The Role

You will be required to

1 Provide technical leadership in effectively managing the AWS environment and DevOps toolchain
2 Automate deployment of container applications/services in Kubernetes, system configurations and security settings
3 Provide guidance and support during deployment
4 Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
5 Write and maintain Terraform scripts
6 Build DevOps data flow architecture map
7 Help define development standards, procedures and guidelines to improve the overall  development process
The Person:

1 You will have experience as a technically hands on DevOps Engineer (with leadership experience)
2 Demonstrable experience of driving DevOps best practice and creating and managing CI/CD pipelines and ideally have experience with Jenkins
Experience with Kubernetes
3 Strong experience in AWS administration and development
4 Experience of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible
5 Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and get buy in for new project roll outs
Strong people management and leadership skills
