- What is POD ? POD is application or service. POD contains one or more container in it. As long as POD is in running state all containers in it will ne in running state.
- Types of POD : Single container PODs & Multiple container PODs
- What POD contains? POD contains one or more containers in it. As you can see in below picture.
- Lifecycle of the POD : Following below diagram we can see that pending state of a POD denotes the POD is not created yet or it is not ready to use. Running state denotes that POD is live or is in running state. And succeeded/failed states denotes that either the POD got succeeded or got failed. Note that POD can’t be create as same as previous. it might have some similarity with previous POD but it can’t be same.
